Back in January of 2015, I started a podcast called The Journeyman Writer, dedicated to writing advice and guidance for writers who focus on the work. I produced 235 episodes of that show, and learned a huge amount through the process — and now, it’s time to continue the work.
The Narrative Beat is a new twice-weekly podcast about the art, craft, and business of the writer’s life. In each fifteen-minute episode, I’ll answer listener questions and address important topics and issues, from the discovery and drafting process to revision and publication. An introductory episode will be available next week, and the first episode will launch on Monday, August 7th.
